Wyatt Compressor Service started from humble beginnings. Founded in 1989 in Lafayette, Louisiana by William “Bill” Wyatt. Wyatt Compressor began with a modest rental fleet of diesel-powered air compressors at a small facility on Mecca Drive in heart of Acadiana. Before he started the business, Bill was a compressor technician and service manager for over 15 years. He managed a vast rental fleet amongst 8 locations throughout the Gulf Coast Area. From the inception, Wyatt Compressor was more than a supplier of air compressors. Blasting and painting equipment and supplies would become a major part of the day-to-day operations of the business. Within four years, the business had more than doubled its sales and had outgrown the original location in Lafayette.
In 2007 Wyatt Compressor would break ground on a 24,000-square-foot, $1.8 million facility in Broussard, Louisiana where the company is currently located. This bigger facility would allow for a much larger rental fleet of air compressors, and additional warehouse space for related equipment and supplies.

Meeting the Demands of Changing Industry
Meeting the changing needs of both offshore and onshore applications has meant that Wyatt Compressor would need to adapt. An emphasis on new equipment has allowed Wyatt Compressor to meet these changes in the corrosion control industry. Wyatt Compressor prides itself on being a “one stop shop” for coating applicators and other users of both portable and industrial air compressors. Wyatt Compressor continues an emphasis on service, with turnkey installation of electric air compressor systems, including dryers, air receivers and aluminum piping. Wyatt compressor has focused on powder coating equipment to meeting the changing demands of the coating industry.
